Listening to music

Here's the music that has stayed with me, in the rough order I came across it:

Gary Numan, Japan, Electric Light Orchestra, Human League, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Beethoven, Mozart, Split Enz, Talk Talk, Queen, A-ha, Duran Duran, the Bangles, Jesus Jones, Guns'n'Roses, the B52s, Inspiral Carpets, the Orb, the Prodigy, Mesh, Pearl Jam, Spin Doctors, Disturbed, Radiohead, Tool, Tame Impala.

There is much more I love and listen to, but those are notable names (and I'm sure there are many more to add that haven't immediately sprung to mind).

I like what I like for the sound and emotion, not for the genre.

It can relax me, fire me up, fill me with sadness. Music is tied to many memories and can really take me back and move me to tears.

Making music

I have always wanted to make music.

I have often tried making music.

I have recently succeeded with a little help from my friends.
